Passion first — then a workshop
Calicars started from passion before it ever became a workshop. The founder's journey began in California while studying at UCLA. Between 2016 and 2018 he rented two lifts inside a Mexican workshop next to CSUSB — not to run a business, but simply to repair his own cars and those of close friends, out of genuine love for proper automotive work.
The owner of that workshop, Homero, played a role in the early chapter of this story. A future section of this page is reserved to honor that beginning with a photo when it becomes available.
Calicars was not opened to compete on being the cheapest workshop. It was opened to raise the standard of quality and transparency that customers in Saudi Arabia deserve, while keeping service fair and honest.
